Astralark

The eight member crew of an exploratory space vessel (Astralark) are

surveying and mapping unknown areas of space as part of a long term

mission when there suddenly drawn into the path of a solar storm.

The massive forces drag the ship into a black hole, sending the vessel and

its crew to an unknown destination on an exoplanet, (Planet Arpita)

The inhabitants of the planet (The Arpitans ) are of a friendly nature and

welcome the crew, allowing them to remain on the planet to repair the

damage done to the space ships guidance system,

The variation of life on Arpita fascinates the crew as they encounter everything

from bizarre market traders from other planets, to DIY robots,

However one aspect of life seems absent and overwhelmingly so,as

the Arpitans have no sense of emotional feeling!

After the initial, and curious insight, into the way of life on Arpita

the story develops around the relationships between the crew and

Arpitans, While frustrations emerge from the unnatural interference

caused by the crew's unexpected arrival on Arpita, the outcome

reveals that no barrier is necessarily too great to overcome,

even where supposedly' non-existent emotions are involved.
